Whereas, in terms of Section 15(1) of the cite Act, 1993, Dakshineswar Ramkrishna Sangha, Plot No. 867, Street/Road- 50 D D Mondal Ghat Road,k Village- Dakshineswar, P.O -Dakshineswar, Tehsil/Taluka- Dakshineswar, Town/City- Kolkata, Dist-North 24 Parganas, West Bengal – 700076 has  applied for grant of permission to Adyapeath Monikuntala Primary Teachers Training Institute, Plot No. 867,842,843,838, Street No. – 50, Village – Dakshineswar, P.O – Dakshineswar, Tehsil/ Taluka- Dakshineswar, Town/City – Kolkata, Dist.- North 24 Parganas, West Bengal- 700076 (Code No. ERCAPP4080) for Additional Intake of D.El.Ed. Course online on 30..6.2015 for two year duration and hard copy received by Eastern Regional Committee of NCTE  on 08.07.2015.

2. AND WHEREAS. On scrutiny of the application submitted by the institution the documents attached therewith, the affidavit submitted and the report received from VT and videography, and the applicant fulfils  the requirements under the provisions of NCTE Act, Rules and relevant Regulations including the Norms and Standards for the said teacher education programme such as instructional facilities, infrastructural facilities, financial resources. etc., for running the programme.

3. NOW THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers vested under section 15(3)(a) of the NCTE Act 1993, the Eastern Regional Committee, NCTE hereby grants permission Adyapeath Monikuntala Primary Teachers Training Institute,  Plot No. 867, 842, 843, 838, Street No. – 50, Village- Dakshineswar, P.O. –  Dakshineswar, Tehsil/ Taluka- Dakshineswar, Town/City- Kolkata, Dist.- North 24 Parganas, West Bangal- 700076 for conducting D.El.Ed Course of two years duration with an additional intake of 50, (existing 50 intake + additional 50 intake), thus making the total intakes of 100 ( one hundred) from the academic session 2017-2018 under clause 7(16) of NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations, 2014 subject to fulfillment of the following conditions:-

I. The Endowment fund of Rs. 5 lakhs and Reserve fund of Rs. 7 lakhs kept in joint account with Regional Director of NCTE should be maintained perpetually. Loan raising against or mortgaging of RDRs shall not be done.

III. The institution shall make admission only after it obtains affilation from the examining body in terms of clause 8(10) of the NCTE (Recognition Norms & Procedure) Regulations 2014.

IV. The Institution shall ensure that the required number of academic staff duly  approved by affiliating body for conducting the course should always remain in position.

4. Further, the recognition/ permission is subject to fulfillment of all such other requirements as may be prescribed by other regulatory bodies like UGC, affiliating University/ Body, the State Government etc, as applicable.

5. The institution shall submit to the Regional Committee a Self-Appraisal Report at the end of each academic year along with the statement of annual accounts duly audited by a Chartered Accountant.

6. The institution shall maintain its website with hyperlink to the Council and the Eastern Regional Committee, covering, inter-alia, the details of the institution, its location, name of the programme applied for with intake; availability of physical infrastructure, such as land, building, office, classrooms and library and the particulars of their proposed teaching  faculty and non-teaching staff with photographs, for information of all concerned. The information with regard to the following shall also be made available on the website, namely:-

a) Sanctioned programmes along with annual intake in the institution;

b) Name of faculty and staff in full as mentioned in school certificate along with their qualifications, scale of pay and photograph;

c) Name of faculty members who left or joined during the last quarter;

d) Names of Students admitted during the current session along with qualification, Percentage of marks in the qualifying examination and in the entrance test, if and, date of admission, etc.,

e) Fee charged from students as per NCTE Norms;

f) Available infrastructural facilities;

g) Facilities added during the last quarter;

h) Number of books in the library, journal subscribed to, and additions, if any, in the last quarter;

i) The affidavit with enclosure submitted along with application;

j)  The institution shall be free to post additional relevant information, if it so desires.

a) Any false or incomplete information on its website shall render the institution liable for withdrawal of recognition.

7. The institution shall adhere to the mandatory disclosure in the precribed format and display up-to-date information on its official website.

8. The institution shall make available list of  students admitted on its official website.

9. The Educational Institution shall follow Uniform Accounting System as brought out by ICAI and accepted by MHRD.

10. If the institution contravenes any of the above conditions or the provision of the NCTE Act, Rules, Regulations and orders made and issued there under, the institution will render itself liable to adverse action including withdrawal of recognition/ permission by the Regional Committee under the provisions of Section 17(1) of the NCTE Act.
