West Bengal Board of Primary education had affiliated Adyapeath Monikuntala Primary Teachers’ Training Institute , Which had been established in the year 2004. Later on , in the year 2013 the said institute was been recognized by NCTE vide code no-ERCAPP1035. AMPTTI is one of the ventures of philanthropic and social service rendered by Dakshineswar Ramakrishna Sangha of revered Sri Annada Thakur the founder of the Sangha. The same Teachers Training Institute and the vast and well equipped Library at Balika Ashram was inaugurated by Sri A.P.J Abdul Kalam the President of India. The aim of the institute is to fulfill the basic learning needs of all children in an inclusive school environment with an active participation of the community. Inspired by the ideals of shri Ramkrishna Pramhansa and shri Annada Thakur, The concept of doing service with an ambition of integral child welfare has been adopted in this institute. Teachers who under take training in this institute has been moulded with the feeling which enables them to understand the basic needs of a child , considering the aspects such as his age, desire and his parents financial ability. The teachers’ would be trained here to help develop the in her quantizes of the children so that they not only become qualified in the formal education but also would develop good moral habits and patriotism.
